Volunteers of SFU is a dynamic social media campaign that I was a part of during my time at SFU Career & Volunteer Services. Inspired by the Humans of New York campaign, VOS is devoted to providing recognition and appreciation to all students at SFU who volunteer.
My responsibilities included scheduling interviews and photography sessions, along with writing and editing all the stories to ensure they reflected the standards of VOS. The stories are promoted on the Volunteers of SFU Facebook page. Below are some examples of my VOS stories:

Images are a critical part of the VOS brand. They assist in communicating the very essence of the brand which are the individuals who make up the volunteering community and these individuals’ volunteering experience. Images are meant to be warm, welcoming and empathetic. These are some samples of the photographs I took of students for VOS:
To thank our volunteers for all their hard work, I was asked to create a short video with quotes from some of our volunteers from VOS. The video was featured on the screens of all the campuses in celebration of the Volunteer Appreciation Festival at SFU Burnaby on April 2nd, 2019. View it here: http://i.sfu.ca/LdPbSQ
